Single pole terminals in five colours for coded terminations
There are three types:
- TBL-0014-750 – 7.5mm pitch top-entry poke-in
- TBL-0015-750 – 7.5mm pitch side-entry poke-in
- TBL-0016-1000 – 10mm pitch side-entry lever-operated
7.5mm types are rated at 0-40A and 0-300V (UL), or 41A and 630-1,000V (IEC) depending on test environment – read the data sheet for details.
10mm types are rated at 10-51A and 150-300V (UL), or 76A and 400-800V (IEC), again depending on test environment.
As well as the single pole versions, there are 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 pole versions, which tend to be rated higher voltages.
In 7.5mm cases, rigid and flexible wires across 24 to 8AWG can be accepted according to UL, while under IEC the sizes are 0.2-10mm2 solid and 0.2-6mm2 flexible.
For the 10mm types, no distinction is made for solid or flexible, and the sizes are 18-4AWG and 0.2-16mm2 (note, these are data sheet figures and the product web page states 24-8AWG, Electronics Weekly has asked for clarification).
Operation is across -40 to 105°C.
Possible users, said CUI, will be making electric vehicle charging systems, industrial controls and test equipment.
